Lens caps and straps may be replaced with new versions depending on stock levels, please add a note to RCF if you have any specific requests.
We choose our Olympus Trip 35 stock carefully so that they are all in good condition, but the cosmetic condition option for the camera is split into three different categories within this:
A "Near Mint +" camera will look almost new; it may have a few superficial signs of use or age (Top 1/3rd of stock).
A "Very Good" camera will also look nice but it will have more signs of wear such as worn down paint and small scratches on the metal (Middle 1/3rd of stock).
An "Average" camera will have more severe signs of wear/use such as deeper scratches, black specs and more obvious blemishes (Bottom 1/3rd of stock).
The base of the camera, owing to being around 40 years old, will be more likely to have some signs of use/small scratches.
None of the cosmetic defects will have an impact on the mechanical working or functionality of the camera.

I'd been looking into buying my first film camera and came across RCF. I loved the idea of the Olympus Trip being easy to use while still delivering great results. Having since bought and tested my Trip from RCF, I can confirm they do very lovingly restore their cameras! My Trip turned up in impeccable condition and ready to use. The instructions from RCF were so helpful for loading film, and before long I'd used up a whole roll of Kodak Gold around Cambridge. I followed RCF's recommendation of where to get the film developed, and the team there did a great job for a very reasonable cost. So pleased with how my photos came out, the Trip worked beautifully and is such a pleasure to use. Can't wait to get through many more rolls of film with it!

I knew I wanted a film camera to bring on my trip to New Zealand and Australia with me. I like photography enough to want a decent camera but I needed something that was beginner friendly. I was as overwhelmed by choices. I found retro camera fix online and I’m so happy with my Olympus trip 35 and the amazing photos that it captured on my travels. I also got given instructions on how to reload the film into my camera which is such a lovely and helpful detail. Along with free postage whenever I buy film. The camera came exactly as described, and was shipped very quickly!
It is a great little camera - it feels sturdy and is weighty. The QR code videos made loading/unloading film super easy, and the instructions for taking photos were great.
I took the camera for a first spin around Annecy, France. I experimented with landscape pics, as well as portraits and a few photos in darker conditions. The camera did well across these! I will say that the rings around the lens can move while you remove the lens cap, so make sure you keep an eye out for that.
The attached pics are using Kodak Gold 200 film.
Overall, I am very excited to continue experimenting :)

I bought this camera as a birthday present for my fiancée. We have been very pleased. The instructions for set up were very clear - even for complete beginners like us (particularly the online video tutorial). The camera looks excellent, works perfectly, and takes wonderful photographs. Couldn't ask for more.
